Communication Unit (Ascom)

ASCOM is the unit responsible for the University’s institutional information. Its responsibilities include monitoring and disseminating major academic information across the three campuses. Currently, ASCOM operates through the institutional website, official social media channels, graphic design materials, as well as managing the relationship between the University and the press.

Special Unit for Human Resources Management (AGP)

AGP is an executive unit with the  primary objective of planning, implementing, monitoring, controlling, and evaluating activities related to personnel management and development, purchasing, materials, supplies  and assets management, campus infrastructure, as well as the maintenance of administrative and academic support services, among other related activities.

Advisory Office for Institutional Projects And Agreements Management (Agespi)

AGESPI provides support for projects in fundraising, management, and ensuring accountability with ethics and public transparency, in accordance with legal guidelines, for the benefit of UESB and local and regional development. It works towards securing funding opportunities through the submission of projects in various fields of knowledge, seeking alternative funding sources from financing agencies, broadening the dissemination of research and outreach opportunities, and encouraging staff participation in project development.

Laboratory Advisory Office (AssLab)

The Laboratory Advisory Office, linked to the Vice-President of Administration Office, aims to support the University’s laboratories by managing, developing, and facilitating actions for the control and distribution of products and substances used in laboratory activities across the three campuses (Itapetinga, Jequié, and Vitória da Conquista), thereby contributing to a public, democratic, and high-quality education.

Advisory Office for Institutional Planning, Development, and Evaluation (APDA)

The Advisory Office for Institutional Planning, Development, and Evaluation is an executive unit under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, responsible for coordinating, drafting, and monitoring institutional planning, development, and evaluation policies, with the aim of continuously improving the academic and administrative activities of the University.

Office International (ARInt)

ARINT is an administrative unit under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, responsible for coordinating and implementing the University’s Internationalization Policy. Its role includes promoting international mobility for staff and students (undergraduate and graduate), fostering academic, scientific, cultural, and technological cooperation with foreign institutions, and managing and overseeing international agreements, memoranda of understanding, study contracts, and mobility selection calls, in collaboration with the University’s various administrative and academic units.
